Ride Day Information
At this time, all riders are asked to be prepared to wear masks when social distancing is not possible. Most of our day will be spent out of doors, but we will be making stops at several local businesses. If you feel you are unable to comply with this request, please consider waiting and joining us another year.
Tweed Ride Huntsville 2021 will take place on Saturday, November 13. Check in will begin at 11:30 a.m. This year, the ride will begin and end at Gold Sprint, located at 2515 9th Ave SW, Huntsville, AL 35805. Parking is available in the largest lot immediately adjacent to the building, and across the street at the Central Baptist Church.
Riders will depart shortly after 12p.m. Please see Bicycle Etiquette to make sure you and your party are prepared to enjoy the day. This year’s Ride will cover 8.3 miles over the course of four and a half hours. We will make several stops, including an hour long midway stop for tea in the park. In an attempt to keep our riders and community safe, we will be having a “bring your own” tea and picnic. For those who wish to purchase refreshments, there are several restaurants surrounding the park. Personal Chef Shaylene Hawley is also offering Grazing Boxes, to be delivered to the park. If interested, please contact her directly as this service is entirely independent of the Ride. ShayleneHawley@Gmail.com
